Kris Somol, ND is a naturopath practicing in Seattle and appeared on The Naturopathic perspective on March 27th 2007 to talk about eating disorders (anorexia, bulimia, and orthorexia) in adolescence. She discusses the naturopathic medicine approach to treating these disorders and teens in general.
Dr. Somol is a resident at Bastyr Center for Natural Health. She has spent twelve years in the healing profession and ten years as a public educator on botanical medicine. She served as intern in pediatrics, womens health, physical medicine, tropical diseases and travel medicine, community health, and acute and urgent conditions. She takes a special interest in family medicine, children, and college-age individuals.
Dr. Somol is a member of the AANP, WANP, and the Oncology Association of Naturopathic Physicians. She received an ND from Bastyr University and a BA in Russian language & literature from Wesleyan University.
